ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The course is designed to provide the learners with the knowledge and skills in strategic planning in business context. It focuses on understanding a business analysis of business problems, and techniques in establishing a business. Learners are given the opportunity to apply varied organisational strategies including planning, implementing and evaluating decisions in business settings.

This training program is intended for any Interested Individuals.
COURSE CONTENTS
Upon completion of this training, participants are expected to:

- Describe the process of strategic planning.
- Formulate business strategies.
- Implement strategies in actual or simulated business situations
ASSESSMENT
Assessment is based on attendance, participation, class exercises and end-of-course examination.
LEARNING AND TEACHING STRATEGIES
The overriding teaching philosophy is based on a student-centred approach and developing learner autonomy. Integral to this is the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach to find solutions to improve and optimise the strategic business skills. To support this there will also be lectures, videos, pair-work and group and other student-centred activities.
CERTIFICATION
Certificate is based on 80% attendance and completion of all assessments.

TRAINING DURATION
Training will run for 20 contact hours.
- 5 Days/4 Hours per day.
- 25 February 2024 (Sunday-Thursday)
- Timing: 8-12 pm
- Venue: Bahrain Polytechnic Campus B – Isa Town

- A good level of English literacy.
