About the Course

This conversion program prepares for roles in analytics statistics, database modelling techniques, enabling to gain insights into datasets and apply problem-solving abilities. Designed to equip the trainees with the technical expertise needed for a career in industry, for roles in analytics by developing their technical expertise and professional skills in business intelligence. This program focusses on core areas such as database design, data acquisition, data visualization and processing data for information extraction. It includes subjects in data science and data mining processes developing the technical and analytical skills of the trainees to real-world problems. The delivery language of the program is English.

The programme is delivered using a PBL philosophy through a mixture of classroom teaching, tutorials, online (web-based), laboratory work, workshops, and supervised projects. Assessment of courses is both formative and summative, with a focus on project work.
