Registration Information

Entry Requirements

Bahrain Polytechnic may require for certain courses and programs that learners complete a prerequisite or a demonstrated proficiency in a language or subject matter, or a show of evidence to prove the attainment of a prerequisite, such requirements will be stated in the course or program entry requirements.

Registration Process

Registering for Courses & Programs

Once the course or program has been selected,  the user will need to complete the registration form, and if required, make the payment . A notification to confirm the success of the registrations will appear once the form is submitted and will be followed with a confirmation email. Offerings are based on a first come first served basis.

Waiting List

If the course or program selected is full, the “Status” in the Course Form will be marked as “Closed”.  The user that would like to be notified for upcoming offerings, is required to complete the form. A notification will appear to confirm the information has been received, followed by a confirmation email that the applicant has been added to the Waiting List.  Upon the availability of spaces or reoffering of courses and programs, the applicants will be contacted based on the chronological order of the wait list, either by email or phone.  Seats will be filled on a first come first served basis.

Registration Fees

Some courses and programs are free, and others are charged. For charged offerings, you will be required to have your card ready to complete the registration process. If the registration form has been completed and the card was not ready, the application will be registered in our database as “Pending”.  The user is encouraged to complete the registration process with a valid Debit or Credit Card ready for payment.  Applications received that are labeled as “Pending” may be contacted by phone or email to complete the registration process.

Conditions

In the case of a no show (for 20% of the course or program), your seat may be allocated to the next person on the wait list.

The paid fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable to any other course or program. 

Cancellation & Refunds

Bahrain Polytechnic reserves the right to cancel a course or program for any reason, including insufficient enrollment. A full refund will be credited to your Debit/Credit Card and is subject to processing procedures by the Ministry of Finance & National Economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain. 

Certificates

Depending on the course or program, a certificate may be provided.  Providing a certificate will be subject to a number of requirements, including the completion of the course or program, and attending at least 80% of the contact hours. 

The type of certificate is dependent on the nature of the course or program and could either be an Attendance, Achievement or Professional Certificate. With any promoted offering, the type of certificate, if provided, will be indicated.

Types of Certificates

Certificate of Attendance: A certificate that is awarded to students who fulfill the attendance requirements.

Certificate of Achievement: A certificate that is awarded to students who fulfill the attendance requirement and have passed at least 60% of the assessments.

Professional Certification: A certificate that is awarded by a certifying body, upon passing the assessment and course requirements.
